Ken Grimm's mission to East Africa is projected to last for a little over two years. The purpose of the mission is based on II Timothy 2:2 - And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. While there will be, in the course of the mission, Bible classes for all different sorts of audiences, the primary target of this teaching will be those who have a potential and a commitment to teaching others. This will be accomplished primarily in two ways. First, a small core of serious students will be assembled to act as translators and assistants in the mission. These will probably be young men who were already preparing for a life of full-time Christian service. Second, classes will be conducted by Ken under the auspices of the Malek Bible School and the Diocese of Bor for a larger group of Bible students.
Lecturing
- Ken will conduct lecture and seminar classes on the Bible in Malek Bible School as directed by the head of the school.
- Ken will conduct lecture and seminar classes on the Bible at other locations as directed by Bishop Nathaniel Garang.
- Ken will teach in the Kakuma Church of Christ on a weekly basis while in Kakuma.
Mentoring
Assisting
- While in Bor, Ken render all possible assistance to B.O.R. in the establishment of their schools.
Relief Work
- Ken will explore the potentialities of humanitarian relief to the Church of Christ in the Kakuma camp from the Churches of Christ in America.
- If feasible, Ken will, in conjunction with Church of Christ missionaries already in Kenya, set up a pilot project of humanitarian relief in the Kakuma Refugee Camp for the Church of Christ.

Note: The schedule is very much in flux at the present time, as we wait the finalization of support amounts. Therefore, this schedule should be seen as tentative. Particularly, the date of work in India is subject to the schedule of co-workers in India.
